Kansas Estate Planning Attorney

Michael L. McCafferty has practiced law in Wichita, Kansas since his graduation from the University of Kansas School of Law. He is a founding member of Wealth Counsel, a national organization for Estate Planning Attorneys and a member of the Wichita Bar Association. He recently served as Program Chair for the Wichita Estate Planning Counsel.

Mr. McCafferty has taught at Friends University and Wichita State University in the areas of Probate, Estate Planning, Pre-Retirement Planning and Estates & Trusts. He taught the Estate Planning portion of Wichita State's Personal Financial Program for CFP candidates. He also is a frequent instructor for the National Business Institute and has taught "How to Draft Wills In Kansas", "Kansas Probate Beyond The Basics" and "Advanced Estate Planning Techniques In Kansas".

Mr. McCafferty's law practice focuses on Estate Planning, Probate and Family Owned Businesses. "Every estate plan I design is comprehensive and tailored to each client's unique needs." The McCaffertys live in West Wichita where their children attend school in Maize. His wife, Emalee, works as a Medical Technologist for Via Christi Regional Medical Center.
